Von den sonnigen Straßen Marbellas aus führt die Route in die Sierra Blanca und steigt in sanften Kurven durch mediterrane Pinienwälder an. Nach Ojén öffnet sich eine wildere, bergigere Landschaft, und der Anstieg nach El Juanar bietet Stille, Schatten und weite Ausblicke auf die Küste.

From the sunny streets of Marbella, the route enters the Sierra Blanca, ascending between gentle curves and Mediterranean pine forests. Passing through Ojén opens the door to a wilder and more mountainous environment, where the ascent to El Juanar offers silence, shade and wide views towards the coast.

Desde las calles soleadas de Marbella, la ruta se interna en la Sierra Blanca, ascendiendo entre curvas suaves y pinares mediterráneos. El paso por Ojén abre la puerta a un entorno más salvaje y montañoso, donde el ascenso a El Juanar regala silencio, sombra y vistas amplias hacia la costa.

Von Coín aus führt die Route zwischen Feldern und Bergen Richtung Norden. Durch charmante Dörfer hindurch gelangt man nach El Chorro. Die Schluchten und der Caminito del Rey bilden dort den Höhepunkt eines langen, bergigen und spektakulären Tages.

From Coín, the route unfolds northward between fields and mountains. After passing through charming villages, El Chorro is reached, where the canyons and the Caminito del Rey (King’s Little Path) mark the climax of a long, mountainous and spectacular journey.
